Brian S Thoroughly entertaining doc. Only wish the perpetrators of these crimes would've gotten what they deserve. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/04/24 Full Review Megan e Really good expose of teen programs, their origins, and the trauma caused by them. This is important for everyone to watch as these programs are in every state. Definitely worth watching! 4.5 stars Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/27/24 Full Review Paula R Such a powerful story that absolutely needed up be told. Having this abuse come to the light in a mainstream outlet makes me hopeful that regulation over these institutions in America will soon come to pass. This series was wonderfully done and sucked me in. Watched all the episodes in one sitting. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/26/24 Full Review Mary L Jaw dropping and eye opening. This series unpacks so much information and its just the tip of the iceberg. Very important watch. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/24/24 Full Review Scott D Was amazing! Could not stop watching and hope something will be done to stop this craziness. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/22/24 Full Review Audience Member Harrowing. A riveting look at the unregulated multi-million dollar industry built off of the abuse of kids, the ramifications of long term manipulation and abuse, the desperation of parents, and the absolute horror that those kids had to endure. It's a well made doc cut with humor that makes the heart punches that much stronger. HIghly recommend! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/21/24 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Richard Roeper Chicago Sun-Times Riveting and often infuriating... Rated: 3.5/4 Mar 9, 2024 Full Review Brian Lowry CNN.com The Program careens about almost drunkenly from topic to topic, but in its totality the three hours paint a harrowing portrait of parents casting about for a way to help their kids and instead subjecting them to pain and trauma. Mar 5, 2024 Full Review Nick Schager The Daily Beast Presents a terrifying insider’s view of the institution and the lasting damage on those who attended. Mar 5, 2024 Full Review Carla Hay Women's Media Center [The Program series director Katherine] Kubler, who is also an abuse survivor of the institution, interviewed many other Academy at Ivy Ridge abuse survivors, survivor advocates, and some of her family members for this docuseries, which Kubler narrates. Apr 16, 2024 Full Review Charlotte Harrison Charlotte Sometimes Goes to the Movies Only a few days on from it’s release, and it’s already prompted for calls for investigation and criminal charges to be placed. Mar 19, 2024 Full Review Melissa Camacho Common Sense Media The troubling docuseries sheds light on the poorly regulated multibillion-dollar "troubled teen" industry from a very personal point of view.
